J Bradley Hook is an American professional livestock photographer and pioneer in the show cattle industry.

Having pictured many millions of dollars worth of breeding and show cattle in his career he resides at the very top of this niche industry. Hook started in show cattle nearly 40 years ago and the impact of his influence on this industry is still very much present, whether through pioneering the art of selling show cattle at a very young age through the “Pasture to Purple” program he founded and held for 20 years, or the dominant influence of his bull Heat Seeker, still found today in many, many champions.

Most recently Hook is known as the creator and host of the Genuine JBH podcast which opened its first season to rave reviews from the livestock/show stock communities around the world. He is looking forward to growing this venture and loves to interact with all his social media listeners and friends.

J Bradley Hook currently resides in rural south central Iowa with his wife of 33 years, Shawn. He can be found carpentering on old barns for his son Drake’s show pig operation or playing fetch with Rizzo, his daughter Sage and husband Cody’s chocolate lab dog, when home for the summer.
